Remember
the
Golden Age of Television? We do. And one of the shows that was a
benchmark of the excellence of writing was Playhouse 90. Each week a
new ninety minute teleplay was presented to the viewing public. Unfortunately,
the
average attention span for today's internet user is a bit less than
ninety minutes. Our research shows that today's viewers can tolerate
three minutes and thirty-one seconds before surfing to the next site. So,
Playhouse 3:31 gives you just that. Episodes that run, on the average,
about 3:31.

Three New Videos by Greg Glienna
"THE ELEVATOR"
"The Elevator" marks Greg Glienna's debut at Playhouse 3:31. The
Chicago filmmaker is best known for his 1992 independent film called
"Meet the Parents." The Ben Stiller version released in 2000 was a
remake. If you ever get the chance to see Glienna's 1992 original film,
you'll be in for quite a treat. We hope that "The Elevator" is just
the first Glienna production presented here.
"THE VIOLINIST"
The World Premiere of "The Violinist" marks Greg Glienna's second short
film on Playhouse 3:31. In a style reminiscent of Jacques Tati or
Rowan Atkinson's Mr. Bean, Greg shows that a picture is indeed worth a
thousand words. Check out more of Greg's films on You Tube. You won't
be disappointed.
"THE CHANGE MACHINE"
We'll call this the third short film in the Greg
Glienna Trilogy. "The Change Machine" is both funny and bawdy. Hard to
accomplish with just a dollar bill and a change machine, but Greg
manages to do both. Enjoy this and we all look forward to Greg's next
Trilogy!
